2009 Cristom, 'Sommers Reserve', Pinot Noir 4.5L

Cristom is a benchmark winery that was instrumental in making the Eola-Amity hills one of the premier spots to grow Pinot Noir in the world. Their unique vineyard site sees exposure to the winds of the Van Duzer Corridor which bring lively acidity and age-ability to the wines.

The Cristom vineyard is separated into five parcels, Eileen, Jessie, Louise, Marjorie and the new Paul Gerrie Vineyard, are all named for family members of the founding Gerrie family. 

'Sommers Reserve' is a multi vineyard blend that is sourced from their owned parcels, as well as fruit from surrounding wineries the the family has relationships with. It sees 18 months in oak, and has since been discontinued. Get it while it's here!
