PAJE MGA(Cru): one of the smallest and higher reputation mga of the entire area. The wines produced here are fruity, with structure and vigorous tannins but they are still considered some of the most refined and age-worthy Barbaresco.
Roagna is our producer to go to when we want to treat ourself. Longevity, finesse and complexity are the main characteristics that we always find in their wine, and then the question is always the same: what are we going to open after a bottle of Roagna? it's tough to match the quality of their wines
Roagna are a symbol of excellence and craftsmanship, producing wines that embody their unique terroir's essence.
Today the property is run by Luca Roagna, the fifth generation of the family.
Roagna is renowned for its commitment to traditional winemaking techniques with long macerations, emphasizing minimal intervention and a deep respect for the land. The estate follows organic and biodynamic practices, ensuring the preservation of the natural environment.
The heart and soul of the Roagna winery are its Barbarescos and Barolos. Like many traditional Barolo or Barbaresco producers, the wines of Roagna improve immeasurably if decanted for a significant period of time prior to drinking, even when the wines have spent a number of years in the cellar. The estate has a long and successful history, but Luca has certainly taken the estate to the highest echelon of the region.
Roagna wines are a testament to the family's dedication to producing exceptional, age-worthy wines like no many others that showcase the true essence of Piedmont's winemaking heritage and exceptional quality
