2021 Domaine Guiberteau, Saumur Rouge, Saumur, Loire Valley

Called “the Clos Rougeard for a new generation,” Romain Guiberteau took back control of his family’s holdings in the late 90’s and has quickly established himself as a new benchmark producer in the Loire Valley. With vineyards centered around the famous hill of Brézé, Romain works several monopole sites which showcase true terroir through Saumur’s Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc grapes. 

Guiberteau's entry level Cabernet Franc is from old vines and is aged in a stainless steel.
